Location: Stoneport, MI

Stoneport is the location of a large limestone quarry which is located between Lake Huron and Grand Lake in eastern Presque Isle County. In early years, the quarry was served by the Detroit & Mackinac railroad via a branch line which came up from Alpena via Rockport.
