Location: Maumee River Drawbridge - Toledo, OH - (PRR)

The Pennsylvania Railroads drawbridge over the Maumee River was the only railroad which crossed the river at an angle, rather than at 90 degrees.  The swing drawbridge was single track and controlled from Olive interlocking tower.

This is the former Pennsylvania Railroad bridge which was built at a slight angle over the Maumee River near downtown Toledo.  This contained multiple fixed spans and a swing section.  It was removed in the 1960's.
