Notes

Boston Mine was operated by the Albany & Boston Mining Company northeast of the Quincy Mine (Hancock). It was a served by the Mineral Range (later DSS&A) between Hancock and Calumet. The mine was first worked in 1860 with one shaft. It was reported not to be profitable.

1910. December 7. The local office of the South Lake Mining Co. is in receipt of the following telegraphic information that No. 7 diamond drill has reached the ledge, and that the Copper Range railroad spur is in. [CN-1910-1207]
