Location: Freda Park, MI

Frda Park Freda Park was a location on the shore of Lake Superior, two miles west of Freda. It was at the end of the Copper Range railroad Freda Branch from Painesdale Junction in Houghton County.

Notes

The Copper Range railroad had a number of buildings at Freda Park, including a 40'x96' pavilion (frame construction) built in 1903, a 23'x40' kitchen, a 14'x16' ice house built in 1907, a 16'x16' frame baggage house built in 1908, a 18'x20' custodian's house built in 1903, privies, ice cream stand and a passenger shelter.
