Station: Martin's Landing, MI

Martin's Landing was a location near the west end of the Chicago & North Western's line from Ishpeming to Michigamme. In 1929, the line was truncated to this location with a small yard left here to service a Scott Paper Company pulp loading yard. A wye was installed here in 1929 for turning locomotives. [CNWV] This line had technically been abandoned in 1933 but in 1939 4.7 miles were placed back into service to Johnson's siding  The train ran once or twice a week. [CNWPD2]
