Railroad: Grand Trunk Western

Built: 1931, by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co., Manitowoc, WI

Crossing: Lake Michigan

End of Service: 1978 (GTW). Then sold to State of Michigan deployed on Ann Arbor rail car ferry service until 1981.

Disposition: Became a bed and breakfast and event venue in Manistee Lake, Manistee, MI

Type: 


Carried 28-30 rail cars. Powered by four Scotch marine boilers.

Sold to City of Frankfort in 1983 foir use as a marine museum. Presently docked in Manistee, MI and open to the public.
