Time Line

2023. Michigan environment regulars are shutting down access to a strange old roadside water spring well in the western U.P. The makeshift filling station must be plugged by the DNR because the water source is unknown and cannot be verified as safe to drink. The well is along the old COPR right of way at the abandoned Lake Mine at the location of a former railroad water tower and water main. [MRF-2023-04]
