Notes

As of 1950: Opened 1887. An old exploration. Shipped in 1887 and 1888, then abandoned. Once part of Northrup property, which included also the Beaufort Mine. Now (1953) being developed by the Cleveland Cliffs Iron Co. as part of their Ohio low-grade ore project. Ore to be concentrated in the Ohio heavy media plant.
