Norway Mine was an iron ore mine located at Norway, MI in Dickenson County. It was operated after 1893 by the Penn Iron Mining company.

1916. Norway, Mich., July 22--In a cave-in on the 18th level of the Curry mine of the Penn Iron Mining company near here, three men were killed and a fourth, James Binanzetti, is caught between two timbers, still alive, but out of the reach of rescuers.
