Notes

Time Line

1903. May. After years of idleness on the Felch Range, is to be heard from again this year, if the predictions at the Northwestern mine do not fail. This mine was opened last year by Mr. St. Claire and this year he proposed to ship an output of about 50,000 tons. It is understood that the Pickands-Mather people have taken the ore and that it will be used in their furnaces. The mine is in the vicinity of Metropolitan and has been idle for many years.
