Notes

The Montreal Mine operated on both sides of the Montreal River in Ironwood, MI and Hurley, WI. It reportedly began operations in 1903 but closed on the Michigan side of the river in 1915. It continued to operate in Wisconsin. It was owned by the Montreal Mining Company.

The mine depth was 4,000 feet.
