Method: Underground by slicing and caving method to depth of 488 feet. Soft, reddish-brown, Bessemer and non-Bessemer hematite.

Railroad connection: C&NW, Soo Line to port of Ashland.

Until: 1936.

Lifetime Production: 1.5 tons between 1917 and 1936. Continues.
