Time Line

1911.  The Channing mine is located on the S. E. ¼ of Section 20, Town 45, Range 33, north of Amasa. The ore is a red hematite. The property has never been worked as a mine, although the ore body has been developed, ready for mining, but is of low quality. The mine is closed down at present.
