Owned by: Richmond Iron Co. (M.A. Hanna agent). Reverted in 1928 to Oliver Iron Mining Co., fee owner.

Produced: Iron Ore, hard, red, siliceous. Crushed.

Method: Open pit.

Railroad connection: C&NW to Escanaba dock.

Until: 1927 - Operations moved to the New Richmond Mine.

Lifetime Production: 3,604,913 tons between 1896-1927

The C&NW had a two track siding to the Richmond Mine built in 1906. [CNWV] It also had a switch back to a coal track and coal unloading facility. All tracks to this mine were removed in 1933.
