Acquired: 1/2 of Sault Ste. Marie Bridge Company in 1887, DSS&A in 1888, part of Fort Street Union Station (in Detroit) in 1889, MStP&SSM in 1890 and joint operation of Detroit river tunnel in 1985.

Became: Known as CP Rail.

Has trackage rights on CSX and Norfolk Southern on various lines in Michigan and other states.

Controlled and owned the MStP&SSM and DSS&A in the upper peninsula but operated them independently.
