Railroad: Menominee and St. Paul Railway Company

This was a terminal railroad in Menominee which connected the Ann Arbor railroad ferry slip with other railroads nearby. It was built in 1900 and abandoned in 1958. It was 0.65 miles long. [MRL] This terminal railroad is controlled by the Ann Arbor railroad during its lifetime. This line was operated for the Ann Arbor railroad by the Chicago & North Western railroad.

Notes

The Menominee and St. Paul Railway was essentially the dock and land operation of the Ann Arbor railroad across Lake Michigan in Menominee. It interchanged with both the C&NW and the Milwaukee Road.


Time Line

1900. The terminal railroad was constructed for 0.65 miles along Green Bay at the mouth of the Menominee River. [MRL]
