Time Line

1883. November 28. The line is opened from Allegan to Dundee after consolidating two other lines. [LDP-1883-1206]

1884. The Michigan & Ohio has contracted for 225,000 bricks from Dundee, and 150,000 from Battle Creek, for use in the construction of the Marshall shops. [DFP-1884-0325]

1886. The line is sold in foreclosure to the Cincinnati, Jackson & Mackinaw railroad.
