Notes

This 27 mile long railroad was opened on October 4, 1897 between Benton Harbor and Buchanan. It crossed under the CCC&St.L (Big Four) line 1 mile south of Benton Harbor.

This line used 56 lb. rail. [MCR-1902]


Time Line

1897. Line opened between Benton Harbor and Buchanan.

1901. There were 11 stations along the line and 38 employees.

1903. Merged into the Pere Marquette.
