Location: Augusta, MI - Crossing (DT&M/MT]

This was the at-grade crossing between the Detroit, Toledo & Milwaukee and the Michigan Traction interurban line. The crossing was a "half" interlocking, with signals on the DT&M and derails on the Michigan Traction Co.

Notes

Time Line

1902. The railroad commission reports that the half interlocker was in good condition and proving "very satisfactory". [MCR-1903] It was later noted that the half interlocking appliance was electrically locked so that the street car line cannot get the signal or derail when a (DT&M) train is within 300 feet of the train signal.
