This is a junction of the DSS&A and C&NW railway main lines heading west to Ishpeming.

This may have been established in 1956 after track realignment due to the expansion of the Mather Mine.

Notes

C&NW Junction switch - west of LS&I railroad crossing. milepost 167.86 - normal position is lined for the DSS&A railroad.
