Location: Gwinn, MI - New Swanzy Crossing (C&NW/LS&I)

New Swanzy crossing was located in Gwinn, in Section 21 of T45N-R25W, Marquette County. This was about 3/4 mile north of Johnson Lake. The east-west Munising railway Austin Branch crossed the north-south C&NW branch off the Swanzy Branch. 


Notes

This grade crossing of the two lines was controlled by a "wood track gate" and signals which were operated by lever at the crossing in 1917.There was an interchange wye in the southwest corner of the crossing. [CNWV]
