Location: Nolan Yard, Detroit, MI

CN Nolan Yard Grand Trunk Western's Nolan Yard is located on their main line (Detroit to Port Huron) between East Outer Drive and Eight Mile Road in the City of Detroit. The yard extends from Conner Avenue on the south and Eight Mile on the north. The GTW had a roundhouse at this yard, as of 1950. Gillen Yard was an extension of Nolan Yard and began at Eight Mile Road and ran northeast to about Nine Mile Road (1950). [MCTC]
