Location: Palmer Yard, Detroit, MI (MC)

Palmer Yard was located on the Michigan Central Belt Line between East Grand Boulevard and East Warren Avenue, about three blocks east of Mt. Elliott. According to a USGS map, the yard had about eight tracks. It had a capacity of 159 cars. The Michigan Central had a freight house and team track just south of this yard at Gratiot Avenue. Notes

This yard serviced all of the Belt Line south of E. Warren Avenue, including the Detroit Manufacturer's railroad.
