
This swing bridge was used by the Pere Marquette and C&O on their line between Traverse City and Petoskey, crossing the Round Lake Channel between Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. The bridge was removed about 1990.

1945. The drawbridge is 622 feet long over the channel connecting Lake Charlevoix on the east and Round Lake and Lake Michigan on the west. The drawbridge is protected by interlocker. [PM45]
