Image info: This is a 1980 photo of Detroit & Mackinac #975 pushing a cut of cars to the lake front for loading on the Chief Wawatam car ferry for transport to St. Ignace. A pair of Michigan Northern EMD geeps sit on the siding waiting for the next train southbound. The Mackinaw City yard was just east of this photograph.
