The Adrian & Blissfleid Rail Road Company was created in 1991 to operate lines owned by the State of Michigan in the vicinity of Blissfield, Lenawee Junction and Adrian, Michigan.
The A&B is affiliated with several other shortlines in southern Michigan, including the Detroit Connecting railroad, the Charlotte Southern railroad, the Jackson & Lansing railroad, and the Lapeer Industrial railroad - all lines which were former New York Central routes.
