Station: Reeds, MI

Reeds, also known as Reeds Lake, was settled about 1834. It was located on a short branch line from the south off the Pere Marquette railroad. Michigan Place Names [MPN] says that Reeds was also a station stop on the GTW which passed by the lake about 1.5 miles north but this has not been confirmed.

Note: Reeds and Reeds Lake may have been two different locations. Reeds Lake is located in what is now East Grand Rapids.
