Notes

Time Line

1902. The railroad commission received a communication from the general superintendent of the Detroit Southern railroad Co, calling attention to an accident that occurred at this railroad grade crossing. The request was for an order to protect that crossing with a half interlocking switch and signal system, with derailers in the tracks of the Electric Railway Company and signals on the steam road. The commission ordered the installation. [MCR-1903]
