Station: Chippewa Lake, MI (Mecosta County)
Chippewa Lake was a location north of Rodney in Mecosta County. It was at the end of a short logging branch line from Rodney to the Lake off the Detroit, Grand Rapids & Western railroad. The Village was platted by the Chippewa Lake Lumber Company with the first post office opening in 1870. [MPN]
