Station: Rust, MI
Rust was a station on the Boyne City, Gaylord & Alpena railroad line from Atlanta to Alpena. Rust was located in Rust Township about four miles west of the Montmorency/Alpena county line and about six miles south of Hillman. The area was settled about 1903.
Notes
The location of this town was on what is now Cohoon Road west of Rust Road.
