Station: Gibson, IN

Gibson is a railroad crossing east of Hammond, IN. There was also a location near here called Gibson Transfer, which was an LCL (less than carload) yard). Gibson was the crossing of the Michigan Central main line and the Indiana Harbor Belt. There was an interlocking tower here which was manned day and night. [ETT-1947]
