Station: Stillman, MI
Stillman was a junction on the Munising, Marquette & Southwestern Ry. where the main line from Munising to Little Lake met the branch line which ran east to Doty and Sunrise Landing.
March 23, 1908. Section Man Killed. Wesley Eakett, a section man on the Munising railroad, was almost instantly killed at Stillman. He was leaning against the door of the snow plow, looking out, when it suddenly slid, letting him fall to the track. Th immense snow banks on either side left no room for Eakett to move, and the wheels of the plow crushed his head. [Port Huron Times Herald-1908-0323]
