Timetable: DT&I Railroad - Tecumseh Branch - Malinta to Tecumseh

This branch was the original main line for the DT&I railroad north to Detroit. From Tecumseh to Dundee, the railroad used the Detroit, Toledo & Milwaukee (NYC) line using trackage rights. When the railroad built the Malinta cut-off in the 1930's, the trackage rights were no longer used and the route became the Tecumseh branch of the DT&I.

Speed limit 30 mph for passenger and freight trains in 1937.


Time Line

1899. The Detroit & Lima Northern operates two passenger trains daily between Columbus and Detroit, via Adrian, Tecumseh and Dundee. One train does not operate on Sunday. [HS-1899-0214]
